Coach Johnson’s squad loves the attitude he is seeing from all his guys and he likes how they are all so eager to play ball.
“I like their attitude, I mean they all want to stay in the game as a pitcher when I come out to get them, they all want to stay in the game as a hitter,” Coach Johnson said. “And I want them to be that way and be competitive.”
In the final game of the series, Right Fielder Jake Brown hit two home runs and brought in 6 RBI’s. Johnson explained how Brown has all the tools to make it to the next level.
“He’s an explosive athlete with strength,” Coach Johnson said. “You know, probably one of the guys, in my opinion, that has the best chance to be a major league player on this team.”
The Tigers will be back in action Monday, February 16 at 6 p.m. CT when they take on Kent State inside Alex Box Stadium.
