Baton Rouge may soon be ready to level up.
Local video game developers are trying to digitize the local economy to make Baton Rouge a more technology friendly place.
One development team member, Duckblock Games, has already found success working with the Louisiana Technology Park.
Lance Trahan, co-founder of Duckblock games, says that working with the tech park has given them chances to avoid mistakes.
According to Trahan, Baton Rouge could be a more developer-friendly city, but that more developers can help attract businesses.
Marc Abunel, LSU Digital Media Arts and Engineering Director, says that hopeful developers may find success through LSU.
For now, both Abunel and Trahan are optimistic about the future of the video game industry in Baton Rouge.
