LSU’s 2018 season opener against Miami in AT&T Stadium has been pushed back a day.
The Tigers and Hurricanes will now meet on Sunday, Sept. 2 at 6:30 p.m. instead of on Saturday, Sept. 1. The last time the two teams met was in the 2005 Chick Fil-A Bowl, which ended with a 40-3 victory by the Tigers.
According to LSU’s press release, this will be only the second time LSU has played on Sunday, with the first being against Virginia Tech in 2002.
