LSU Softball Head Coach Beth Torina spoke to the media about her team’s performance in the Tiger Classic.

Coach Torina’s Tigers went undefeated in the Tiger Classic and threw four shutouts. Torina brought in new faces in key places.

“It’s nice seeing a lot of the pieces come together,” Torina said. “A lot of things that we weren’t sure how they would play, we’re now starting to see how they will.”

Transfers Jaila Lassiter (Ole Miss), Avery Hodge (Oklahoma) and Tatum Clopton (Oklahoma State) played big roles in the Tiger’s 5-0 start to the season. LSU Softball faces off against the University of Texas at Arlington this Friday at 4 p.m. inside Tiger Park.
