LSU Gymnastics defeated the Georgia Bulldogs on Friday, March 7 in historic fashion. LSU posted a score of 198.575 which was a new program record.

Friday night was senior night in the PMAC and LSU fans did not disappoint. Fans packed the arena, making it the fourth consecutive sold out match of the season.

LSU Gymnasticds Head Coach had high praise for his seniors.

“Haleigh and Aleah and Sierra and all those guys are regarded by our fans, and it’s because of the people they are, not because of the scores they put up,” Clark said.

With the SEC Tournament two weeks away, the Tigers are hitting their stride and stringing together amazing performances. Nearing the end of the season, all signs are pointing up for the Tigers.

“The quality of the performance from our team was a championship quality performance,” Clark said.

No. 2 LSU will end the regular season in Auburn on Friday, March 14 at 7:30 p.m. CST.
