LSU Football Head Coach Brian Kelly addressed the media following Thursday’s practice. The team will host the Florida Gators, Saturday in Death Valley for their SEC home opener.
A main topic of discussion was the team's two notable injuries to Wide Receiver Trey’Dez Green and Center Braelin Moore. Both were reported to be practicing, but Trey’Dez is not where they needed him to be but will ultimately be a gametime decision.
Senior Center Braelin Moore was said to have practiced and is expected to be game ready.
With this loss, the offensive line plans to maintain their physicality, and to win the battle of the line of scrimmage every time.
Brian Kelly emphasized how important the atmosphere of this game will be in order for LSU to secure the win.
“These guys come here to play in the SEC, right? It’s an SEC game and Florida is going to be a great atmosphere.”
Coming off of a 23-7 win over the Louisiana Tech Bulldogs, the Tigers are looking to maintain their 1-0 mindset. Which has proven to be successful in the past few weeks as the team faces unranked Florida with a No.3 ranking.
“To a man these guys are really locked in when it comes to an SEC opponent,” said Brian Kelly.
No.3 LSU Football hopes to maintain composure and their ability to compete as they head into their SEC home opener against the unranked Florida Gators.
