Paul Skenes is the Unanimous 2025 NL Cy Young Award winner. Skenes is the first former LSU pitcher to win the award.

Skenes adds another piece of hardware to his already fantastic baseball career. His achievements thus far in his career are a National Championship, College World Series MOP, SEC Pitcher of the Year, NL Rookie of the Year, and now a NL Cy Young Award.

Skenes was a Cy Young Award finalist last year, and he is the third LSU pitcher to be a Cy Young Award finalist.

He finishes the 2025 season with a 1.97 ERA, 0.95 WHIP, 2.36 FIP and 217 ERA+.
