Tigers versus Tigers, LSU Volleyball beat the Auburn Tigers in a 3-2 match.
The LSU Tigers came out hot against Auburn, but Auburn didn’t let them run all over them. The first match was back-to-back for both teams, but the LSU Tigers came out on top 25-21.
Auburn was ready for a comeback winning the next two matches back-to-back 25–14 and 25-22. After these two enticing matches it was sought out that Auburn was going to take the win; but the LSU Tigers bounced back with resilience and had an intense comeback. While the scores were close the LSU Tiger sealed the deal with the last two matches 25-20 and 15-12.
Junior Jurnee Robinson had outstanding performance with 28 total kills and 12 digs, alongside Senior Nia Washington had great performance with 23 total kills and 11 digs.
This was the last game for the Tigers regular season. The Tigers had great momentum this game and will have to keep it up upon entering the SEC tournament.
Going into the SEC tournament it’s a clean slate where everyone is 0-0. Will the Tigers be able to shift gears and play together like they did in today’s match?
The first round of the SEC tournament will take place in the Emmarket Arena in Savannah, Georgia November 21st.
