After shutting out New Mexico in Death Valley on Saturday, some of the playmakers on both offense and defense talked to the media about the team’s attitude moving forward this season.
Although the win against New Mexico marks the Tigers’ third win in a row, the majority of the remainder of their matchups are high-quality SEC teams.
In the absence of standout wide receiver Kayshon Boutte, several receivers on the LSU offense had more targets and catches than in any other game this season.
“We’re coming out with a lot of energy now,” wide receiver Jack Bech said. “The more we do that the more unstoppable we can be.”
The LSU defense also had a big night as they were able to hold the New Mexico offense for the entire game.
“I feel like the offense and the defense and special teams are all gelling together,” safety Greg Brooks Jr. said.
