LSU Softball Head Coach Beth Torina has her team rolling with a 14-0 start going into their first roadtrip of the season. A big part of the Tigers success is the way the team is being coached.
Torina says her team is coming together with the help of her staff allowing the players to be independent while focusing on accountability.
“I think it’s awesome how our staff gives this team ownership,” Torina said. “It’s like they’ve almost given them the keys to the city. You know, they’ve helped them write a routine but then ask them to implement it on their own.”
The Tigers face off against No. 4 UCLA in the Judi Garman Classic on Thursday, Feb. 27 at 2 p.m. CT inside Anderson Family Field in Fullerton, California.
