LSU Football held its eighth spring practice on Saturday morning.
Position battles are starting to heat up on both sides of the ball. LSU has a lot of talent upfront and those battles will continue up until the start of the season.
“And in this year, there’s going to be intense competition for those five positions all year. And it’s not going to like get to a certain date and go ‘there’s no competition anymore,’” Coach Kelly said.
LSU also has an embarrassment of riches at the wide receiver position. With returners like Aaron Anderson, Chris Hilton and Zavion Thomas, LSU also has transfers in Nic Anderson and Barion Brown.
It’s exciting to watch these players battle in practice. Quarterback Garrett Nussmeier will have no issues on who to throw to.
LSU continues to work and get better until their first game against Clemson in August.
