LSU Students Turn Campus Into a Real-Life Scavenger hunt
Warmer weather has students spending more time outdoors, and one mobile app is turning the LSU campus into a real-life scavenger hunt.
Through the Let’s Roam app, students can participate in the LSU Bayou Bengal Bonanza Hunt, an interactive challenge that sends players across campus searching for clues while uncovering hidden history on campus. The app guides participants through a series of trivia questions, puzzles, and photo challenges at well-known landmarks throughout LSU.
The experiences encourage students to bring friends and work together as they navigate from one location to the next. The hunt typically takes an hour to complete and for $12.99, a ticket students can transform a casual walk through the quad into an interactive adventure.
One student said they discovered the scavenger hunt while browsing events online and found an ad for the hunt on Groupon.
“I found the scavenger hunt one day bored… and saw an ad on Groupon for the hunt,” the student said. “It actually turned out to be really fun with my friends and affordable.”
For students still looking for something new on campus, the experience is available year-round through the Let’s Roam app.
