LSU Tennis hosted its final match of the 2025 regular season on Sunday at 5 p.m. against Alcorn State and went out with a bang. LSU swept Alcorn 7-0 in singles and doubles, giving them good momentum as they prepare for the postseason.
On court one, senior Julien Penzlin handled business, defeating his opponent 6-1 in the first set and 6-3 in the second. Penzlin controlled this match from the start and never gave Alcorn a chance to cut into his lead.
On court five, Brock Anderson won his match with two 6-0 sets to end off the regular season.
LSU looks to go into the postseason hot, as they proved with this match. With such a commanding win, the LSU coaching staff will look to build on their improvements over this season and develop younger players to get them game-ready.
