LSU Softball is struggling to stay in the top 10 after another SEC series loss.
The Longhorns took the series in a dramatic 6 to 5 walk off win on Saturday. But the team didn’t go down without a fight. In Friday’s win Jalia Lassiter had 3 runs putting the team over the top.
Saturday’s loss was tough. Although they didn’t come out with a win, big plays from Danieca Coffey kept the Tigers from losing in a blowout.
The team has struggled to finish the series these last few weeks having lost 3 of their last 4 conference series.
They look to this weekend as an opportunity to change the narrative as No. 8 ranked Florida comes to the Bayou.
This weekend’s series looking a little different with a Saturday, Sunday and Monday slate. The series will start with first pitch at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
