No. 3 LSU Football started the season 1-0 with a 17-10 road win at Clemson, but the mantra does not end there.

The mindset of winning and being 1-0 is about more than just ending the five year drought of season-opener victories. Going 1-0 is a mentality of winning every rep.

Whether it is position drills in practice, school assignments or game winning moments the Tigers want to win them all.

Brian Kelly and the team have taken the “one day at a time” mindset to the next level. It is still early in the season, but so far it seems to be working.

“Our guys believed going into the game that we were going to win,” Kelly said. “That is what we are about, and we need to stay focused on that if we want to get to 1-0 this week.”
