The LSU Tigers will face off against the Florida Gators in week three of the college football season. The Tigers enter the game 2-0 and the Gators 1-1. LSU is preparing for this matchup by watching film and installing new plays. The Dairy Store has other ways to prep.
The LSU Dairy Store released a new ice cream flavor based off the Florida Gators. The Dairy Store has released new flavors based on LSU Football’s home game opponents since last football season.
This new flavor is called “Later Gator” and it has an orange ice cream base with chocolate chips mixed into it.
The Dairy Store has a rich history, just like LSU Football and Florida. LSU and Florida’s first ever football matchup came in 1937, the Dairy Store has been churning ice cream since 1918.
A sweet treat and a sweet victory would be wonderful and Brian Kelly knows exactly how to get that victory.
This Saturday’s home game will be LSU’s first color-themed game since 2022, so Kelly and the Tigers are hoping to see a great showing inside Tiger Stadium. Kelly is calling on the LSU fanbase to bring the energy inside Tiger Stadium.
“It’s SEC time, so you had your warm-up tailgates, you got your recipes down, you got how much you need for drinking,” Kelly said. “Now, let’s go get it.”
LSU versus Florida will kick off at 6:30 p.m. CT on Saturday, Sept. 13, inside Death Valley.
