Freshman forward Grace Knox and senior forward Amiya Joyner spoke to the media following LSU’s victory against Alcorn State.
In just 17 minutes, Knox was able to record 12 points to be a spark off the bench. “Wherever I’m needed is where I want to be,” Knox said. “I just want to be able to help the team get as far as we can.”
The game marked the 6th straight that the Tigers have scored over 100 points. Joyner highlighted the team’s chemistry as what’s keeping the streak alive. “We [have] good team chemistry on and off the court,” the senior said. “We share the ball a lot and we play [well] together.”
The Tigers look to make it seven straight games in their next game against Marist in the Paradise Jam tournament.
