Mike Williams III stepped up and impressed coach McMahon, having his best performance of the season.
“Really proud of Mike, coming back from Christmas, he’s been really good in practice. He has earned the opportunity tonight, he was great, hit a very important three for us, made a lot of important plays, needed him on the floor on those last 11 minutes of the game,” said LSU’s head coach.

LSU’s Point Guard, Jordan Sears explained the keys to the teams success.
“We need to clean up turnovers and defensive rebounding. So I feel like once we clean that up will put ourselves in a better situation to win.
